Why can’t an inspector sign the tech card in the mobile app?

Tech Cards are generated in SDL Desktop and delivered to the mobile app via the sync client — the inspector isn’t expected to sign them from mobile.

• Confirm the tech card exists on the permit in SDL Desktop first; if it doesn’t, it won’t be accessible on mobile at all.
• Signing has traditionally been an in-office/Desktop-side process. If a specific workflow requires mobile signing, check with SDL Support on current capability.
