SDL Mobile - Land Use - Add/Close Zoning Violations

This guide is for SDL Mobile users in the Land Use module who need to log or resolve zoning violations in the field during an inspection. Follow these steps when you want to add a new violation (selecting the infraction and statute) or close out an existing one by setting its close date.

 

 

  1. From the Land Use module in SDL Mobile, Click Inspections. 

  2. Select an Inspection. 

  3. Click the VIOLATION tab. 

  4. Click the "+" icon at the bottom right to add a Violation. 

  5. Select an Infraction. 

  6. Select a Statute. Note: Download Statutes if prompted. 

  7. Add information in the SUMMONS section if necessary. Then, Click Done.

  8. To close an existing Violation, Click Edit Violation. 

  9. Click Close Date. 

  10. Click either Set As Closed or Set As Closed With Date.
