SDL Mobile - Getting Started - Installing SDL Mobile for Android

1) The most current version of SDL Mobile (3.1.262) for Android devices is not available on the Google Play Store and will need to be downloaded directly from SDL. Using your Android device, visit spatialdatalogic.com/sdlmobile to download the latest version. Note: If you have an existing version of SDL Mobile on your Android device, please uninstall the previous version before installing the new version. We are working to get version 3.1.262 in the Google Play Store for automatic updates; however, this is the workaround to make it available immediately. 
2) Once you've visited the site above and clicked the Download SDL Mobile button, the file will download to your device. 
3) Depending on your phone settings, the SDL Mobile app may be accessed using one of the following methods after download: 
  • Click Open on the bottom of your browser after the file downloads
  • Swipe down to access your notifications and click on the file
  • Navigate to the Download folder on your device to open the file

Note: You may need to adjust your phone's security settings to allow the app to be installed. If this happens, your device should walk you through this process.
