2025-05-19 Update - SDL Desktop - Fire Prevention Updating Quick Descriptions

Update Your Quick Descriptions

Following the update of the 2018 NJ Fire Codes, many users have also been looking for an updated Quick description list. The current Quick descriptions in SDL Desktop are based on the 2015 codes, which should be deleted in order to avoid confusion. 

The 2015 quick description list can be deleted in the "Manage Quick Descriptions" item on your task list.

A new Import button has been added to delete and import Quick Descriptions.

Make sure to select the statute source type for the 2015 Codes, then click the delete QDs of this Source button.

We were able to obtain an updated set of Quick Description defaults based on the 2018 codes. If you would like to have them imported, please contact technical support to import, or you can enter in your own new quick descriptions.
