SDL Desktop - Adding GIS Layers

First, log in to the SDL Admin with your Administrator credentials

Highlight Layers and then select Tools

Select Layer from the drop-down menu and then Add Layer

Select the Shapefile you want to add to GeoClient and then click Open. (Note: Be sure to use a network path with the file location so all users have access)

Doubleclick the Layer that was just added

Select the Label tab to select the Field that will appear on the map

Click OK

A pop-up message will appear. Review and click OK

Repeat the process to add additional layers.
