Portal Settings - Health - Setting Up Septic System Pumping

This guide walks Town Admin users through configuring the Septic System Pumping web request in SDL Portal — setting access permissions, notification recipients, display placement, labels, page text, attachments, custom fields, and required forms. It's useful for administrators customizing how this request appears and functions for residents before it goes live on the Portal.

 

  1. From the SDL Portal, click Town Admin. 

  2. Click Web Requests.

  3. Click Septic System Pumping. 

  4. Access Settings is where the type of user that can create this request is determined.

  5. Notification Settings is where you can adjust the staff members who will receive an email notification.

  6. Display Settings determines where the request will appear on the Portal.

  7. Label Settings is where you can edit the title of the web request if you have specific verbiage you would prefer to use. 

  8. Requests Page Text Settings is where various descriptions and instructions can be edited.  

  9. Attachment Settings is where attachments for the request are managed. 

  10. Custom Field Settings are used to append additional notes fields to the request.

  11. Upload/Download Form Settings is where specific documents or forms that are requested/required for the request are managed.
