How do I set up a non-UCC or custom certificate template?

“Custom certificate template” isn’t a distinct SDL feature — this covers setting up non-UCC certificate templates.

1. In the Construction module, go to Tools > Construction Options > Certificates.
2. On the Certificates tab, click Work with Non-UCC Certificates.
3. Click Add to create a new template, and enter the name, default fee, and signature line.

This is a template — settings here apply to every certificate generated from it: - Body Section 1 and Body Section 2 are two separate paragraphs on the certificate. - Most identifying info (worksite location, owner address/phone) auto-populates from the permit/property data. - Additional display options (e.g., Show Tenant, Tenant is Buyer, Tenant is Applicant, Use Application Date, Don’t Show Number) control which fields appear on the generated certificate.
