How do I override a DCA fee on a construction permit?

This fee is calculated automatically in most cases based on the type of work, permit cost, and cost of work, so an override typically isn’t necessary.

If an override is needed: 1. Open the permit and go to the Fees tab. 2. Click Additional Fees / DCA Override. 3. Locate the State Permit Surcharge Fee. 4. Check Override Fee. 5. Enter the new value in Override Value.

DCA fees are calculated from values the DCA provides. Only override this fee for a clear, verified reason.
