How do I modify a permit’s description or override a census code?

Both settings are on the Work tab of the permit.

Updating the work description: 1. Open the permit and go to the Work tab. 2. Based on the subcode selected on the General tab, a list of relevant work descriptions populates. 3. Check the applicable description (this list is pulled from the work descriptions configured in Construction Options). 4. Use Additional Work Comments for any extra identifying detail.

Updating the census code: The census number is also on the Work tab. In most cases, leave it at the default. If a change is needed, verify with the DCA (or confirm what the code represents) before updating it.
