Fire Prevention - Processing Portal Detector Inspection Requests in SDL Desktop

1. From the Info tab in the Fire Prevention module in SDL Desktop, scroll down to the Portal Requests section. 

   

2. Find a SMOKE CERTIFICATE type, then click Process. 

   

3. If dates were selected, you will be prompted to schedule an Inspection. For this example, click Yes. 

   

4. The dates selected by the citizen on the SDL Portal will be listed, Click Schedule. 

   

5. After confirming the Inspection Info, click OK. 

   

6. The Detector Inspection Request will open. Enter any additional information in the General tab as required. 

   

7. Enter any additional information in the Request Info tab as required. 

   

8. Notes created by the Portal Request will be displayed in the Notes tab. 

   

9. Any associated Fees or Payments can be added in the Payments tab.

   

10. Information for the Inspection is displayed in the Inspection tab. Any necessary changes can be made by clicking Edit. 

    

11. Any associated Detectors can be Added or Edited in the Detectors tab.  

    

12. Reports and Attachments can be managed in the Related tab. Click OK to exit.
