Construction - Reports - DCA Report Review

15 STEPS

1. The first step is to Click Reports while in the Construction module.

   

2. Click DCA Reports.

   

3. Click Quarterly State Training in the DCA Reports section. 

   

4. The report can be created either for a Quarter, or for a Custom date range. 

   

5. Once the Date Options are set, Click Preview Report.

   

6. Once the report opens, Click the Next Page button to view Page 2. 

   

7. Due to the way the software rounds dollar values up or down, if the Percent Difference is within +/- 5% this is considered acceptable by the DCA, and you can proceed with the DCA Transmission. 

   

8. In cases where the difference is greater than 5%, Click the DCA State Permit Fee Detail Report.

   

9. Select a Start and End Date, then Click Preview Report. 

   

10. Look for any discrepancies between the dollar values in the DCA Fee Collected and DCA Fee Calculated columns, and make note of the Permit Number for further investigation. 

    

11. Keep in mind that any Exempt Permits can be ignored in regard to the DCA transmission. 

    

12. Another helpful tool is the Show DCA Comparison. Click the check box.

    

13. After selecting a Date Range, Click Preview Report. 

    

14. This report shows the difference between Permit Fees and Fee Item Fees, broken down by each Date, and is helpful in finding any discrepancies before making the DCA Transmission. 

    

15. Finally, Click Close to exit.
