Construction - Permits - Locking Permits

This guide is for SDL Desktop users in the Construction module who need to prevent accidental edits to a permit. Follow these steps when you want to lock a permit (view-only) or unlock it again to allow editing.

  3. The description at the top of the Permit window will be red, indicating that the Permit is Locked.

  4. While the Permit is Locked, information in the various tabs can be viewed, but not changed.

  5. Clicking the Lock and Unlock the Permit button again will Unlock the Permit, allowing all information to be edited.
