Construction - Permits - Changing Application Numbers

12 STEPS

1. The first step is to click Tools then select Construction Options.

   

2. Once the Options window opens, click the Plan Review tab.

   

3. Tracking Numbers are at the bottom of the Plan Review section. Click the drop-down menu to select the specific type of Tracking Number you want to change.

   

4. Then click Edit.

   

5. This will open the Edit Tracking Number window.

   

6. Checking Use Month and Use Year will incorporate the Month and Year into the Tracking Number

   

7. The Number of leading zeros field will determine how many zeros will appear in front of the Seed Number. Separator Character will insert a character between each of the different fields within the Tracking Number.

   

8. Checking Reset seed for each new year will automatically reset the Seed Number starting January 1st. 

   

9. Prefix will add additional numbering or lettering to the beginning of the Tracking Number. Suffix will add additional numbering or lettering to the end of the Tracking Number.

   

10. The Seed Number will set the starting Tracking Number, which will increment for each new Permit added.

    

11. Click OK to save and exit. 

    

12. Finally, click OK in Options to exit.
