Assessor - Permits - Setting Up Construction Watches

This guide is for SDL Desktop users in the Assessor module who need to track specific Construction Department permits. Follow these steps when you want to select one or more permits from the Construction Permits datagrid, add a Watch on them, and later view your watched permits in the dedicated Construction Watches datagrid.

 

  1. Assessors can place a Watch on Permits issued by the Construction Department.

  2. From the Assessor module, Click Data Grid. 

  3. Click Construction Permits to enter the Data Grid. 

  4. Select one or more Construction Permits then Click Edit. 

  5. In the pop-up window, make sure Add/Remove Watch is selected and then click Run. 

  6. Click Yes to confirm that you would like to watch these permits.

  7. Click OK. 

  8. To view your watches, Click Construction Watches to enter the Data Grid. 

  9. The previously selected Permit is now in the Construction Watches Data Grid.
