Assessor - MODIV - Importing MODIV Data

9 STEPS

1. Before starting this process, you will need to get the MODIV text or Vital file to be imported. Once the file is retrieved, go to Tools then Assessor Options in GeoClient.

   

2. In the Assessor Options window, click Import MODIV.

   

3. Before running the import, click Options to make sure that the configuration is correct.

   

4. To make sure that the correct file is selected, click the icon next to the ModIV import file field.

   

5. We recommend using a folder on your server to keep track of all MODIV data. If the new file is not in this folder, you will need to add the file and then select. Once selected, click Open.

   

6. Next, go to the Filters tab.

   

7. Verify the file type by using the drop-down menu. Note: Microsystems uses the MODIV Masterfile Format

   

8. Now click Apply to return to the MODIV Conversion Utility.

   

9. Click Run. Once the import runs, a pop-up will ask if you want to view the linking error report. This report will show you all of the issues that occurred during the import.
