New Updates
Building inspection request updates

  • Includes previous inspections listed for selected permit (when inspections are configured to show for the town)
  • Contact name and phone number added as required fields (appended to notes)
  • Added town setting to adjust number of days ahead that can be scheduled in request - default/min is 60, max is 365 days
  • Added checkbox that displays after submitting a request to start a new request using existing permit and contact name/number to streamline multiple inspection requests for the same permit
  • Improved mobile and tablet display
  • Improved messaging when inspections cannot be scheduled
  • Improved calendar availability
  • Default availability and the ability to override defaults for specific dates added as a feature in
  • SDL Online. Current daily subcode settings from the desktop will be used until settings are added to SDL Online.
  • Federal/State Holidays blocked by default. An override in SDL Online can be used when required.
  • Improved permit/subcodes available for inspection
  • Permits in ‘finals passed’ or voided are now blocked from being selected
  • Subcodes that have a ‘final’ inspection that is passed are blocked from being selected.
  • Permit issue date required for inspections to be scheduled
  • Permit pages now display a “Schedule Inspection” button (when permit is in applicable status and a town allows inspection requests) that will navigate user to inspection request with the permit pre-selected
