SDL Desktop - GIS - Parcel Map Update Process

9 STEPS

1. Before you begin the parcel update process, you must make sure that all users are logged out of the SDL GeoClient. Doubleclick GeoClient Admin and enter your administrator credentials.

 2. Select the File tab and then select Import Parcels from the drop-down menu.

 3. Click Options

4. Use the ellipsis button to open a window to select the location of the new parcel map. You must use the network path where the file is located so all users will have access.

 5. Select the shapefile you want to import.

6.  Select the Parcel File tab to review the Shapefile fields.

7. Once you have verified the correct Block, Lot, Qualifier and Linking Fields, select OK

8. Select Run to begin the import. Depending on how many parcels the municipality has, the process could take several minutes.

9. When import is complete, you can select Close and Exit out of the GeoClient Admin. You will now need to import the MODIV Tax in the Assessor Module.
