Why are form submissions not consistently showing on the map?

Map view for form submissions requires all of the following:

  1. GIS property data is set up and linked in SDL Connect. 2

  2. A Property Location field was added to the form — the form must include a Property Location element that links the submission to a parcel.

  3. The submitter actually linked their submission to a property — if the applicant didn’t select a property when submitting, no map pin is created.

To fix a submission that’s missing from the map: open the submission, go to the Property Location field, search for the correct address, select it, and save the submission again. This retroactively adds the pin.

If the map isn’t displaying at all — not just missing individual pins — that’s a separate issue. Check SDL’s system status and verify the ArcGIS Feature Service URL is accessible.
