2026-03-25 Release Notes - SDL Connect

A summary of the newest features in SDL Connect.

🚀What’s New This Release?

  • Maps are now easier to use and understand, with clearer property highlights and visible house numbers.

  • Reports and forms are more readable and accurate, with better display of information and signatures.

  • Workflow tools now give clearer explanations, making it easier to understand what each step does.

  • Deleting attachments from inspections works as expected.

Read on for more details about each improvement.

🗺️ Easier and Smarter Maps

We’ve made it simpler to find and identify properties on the map. Now, when you open a property’s map, it’s automatically centered and highlighted, so you know exactly what you’re looking at. Plus, house numbers are now visible when viewing buildings, making it much easier to spot the right address.

  • When viewing a property record and opening the map, the selected property is now automatically centered and highlighted, making it easy to confirm the location.

  • House numbers are now shown on the map when the Buildings layer is on, so you can identify properties by street address, not just block and lot.

📄 Clearer Reports and Forms

We’ve improved how information is displayed in reports and forms, so you can quickly understand what’s going on without extra effort.

  • In Connect reports, fields like Denied, Voided, Abandoned, and Locked now show “Yes” or “No” instead of confusing numbers or blanks, making reports easier to read and share.

  • When you resubmit a form with a digital signature, your new signature is now saved and shown correctly, so records always reflect the latest signer.

🔄 More Helpful Workflows

Understanding what each step in your workflow does is now much easier, thanks to clearer descriptions.

  • The Property Info step in the workflow builder now explains what data it provides and how it can be used, so you know exactly what you’re getting at a glance.

🛠️ Smoother Inspections

We’ve fixed an issue with deleting attachments from inspection records, so you can remove the right file every time.

  • Deleting an attachment from an inspection now removes the correct file, not just the first one in the list.

That’s it for now. We’re always working on new ways to improve your experience. Keep an eye on this space for future updates. If you have questions about any of these features, feel free to reach out to our support team.
